Donald W. Garner
founded
the LL.M. Law Group in 2003. Mr. Garner obtained his Master of
International Law degree cum laude while on a Fulbright Scholarship
for the European Union in 2001. While pursuing his LL.M. he wrote an award
winning international trade treatise and was elected class president of the
LL.M. students. He obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 where he served as Chief
Justice of the Moot Court program. Don is an active member of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association and a respected member of the Chicago legal
community. Don was the 2006-07 President of the Rotary Club of Chicago, the
world’s first Rotary Club established in Chicago in 1905. He
is the Past President and current Consular Corps Liaison of the
Chicago Chapter of the Fulbright Association and has recently formed the
International Volunteer
Network of Chicago in partnership with the Chicago Consular Corps and
Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association. Don’s work, passion, and training are daily devoted to bringing
people together from all over the world. This is why the Chicago Sun-Times
declared in 2006 that Don Garner is a “top immigration attorney.” He has
appeared on national and international television, radio and newspapers.
Don is called upon for advice and law lectures by many local and
multinational businesses and governmental groups.

Mr. Tzu-Kai
Lo
is a
law graduate of the National Taipei University in Taiwan. Kai obtained his
Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2002 and Juris
Doctor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005. He was
the first Taiwanese law scholar to be admitted into the
Juris Doctor program at the University of
Illinois. Prior to being admitted to the Illinois bar in 2005, Kai worked
as a stenographer at the Legislative Yuan of Taiwan from 1999-2000.
Because of his fluency in Chinese, Taiwanese and English, Kai has been
retained to translate official legal documents into and from Chinese, and
often serves as a contemporaneous translator in both legal and informal
proceedings. Kai is admitted to the Supreme Court of Illinois and U.S.
District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is also an active
member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association and the Chicago Bar
Association.

Thomas W. Soseman, Of Counsel, is a corporate attorney with over 13 years of experience representing both domestic and foreign companies doing business in the United States. He is one of the few attorneys in the Chicago area that has practiced law in both the United States and in Europe. Prior to forming his own law firm, Thomas practiced corporate law with the international law firm of Winston & Strawn LLP for 4 years in its Chicago office and 3 years in its Geneva, Switzerland office. Thomas' practice includes company organization and structuring, finance, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, commercial law, joint ventures and general corporate and business advisory. Thomas obtained his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in politics and economics from Cornell College and obtained his juris doctorate magna cum laude from the University of Iowa College of Law where he was an associate editor for the Journal of Corporation Law. After being admitted as a member of the bar in the State of Iowa, Thomas was appointed judicial clerk for the state district court located in Des Moines. After completion of his one year clerkship, he was admitted as a member of the bar of the State of Illinois and obtained an MBA in finance and international economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. While at the University of Chicago, he also spent one quarter studying at the London Business School.

Russia. Olea is fluent in Russian and
English.
