Donald W. Garnerfounded
the LL.M. Law Group in 2003. Mr. Garner obtained his Master of
International Law degree cum laude while on a Fulbright Scholarship
for the European Union in 2001. While pursuing his LL.M. he wrote an award
winning international trade treatise and was elected class president of the
LL.M. students. He obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 where he served as Chief
Justice of the Moot Court program. Don is an active member of the American
Immigration Lawyers Association and a respected member of the Chicago legal
community. Don was the 2006-07 President of the Rotary Club of Chicago, the
world’s first Rotary Club established in Chicago in 1905. He is the
immediate Past President of the Chicago Chapter of the Fulbright Association
and currently is working to establish a Friends of Bulgaria group in
Chicago. Don’s work, passion, and training are daily devoted to bringing
people together from all over the world. This is why the Chicago Sun-Times
declared in 2006 that Don Garner is a “top immigration attorney.” He has
appeared on national and international television, radio and newspapers.
Don is called upon for advice and law lectures by many local and
multinational businesses and governmental groups.
Mr. Tzu-Kai
Lois a
law graduate of the National Taipei University in Taiwan. Kai obtained his
Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2002 and Juris
Doctor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005. He was
the first Taiwanese law scholar to be admitted into the
Juris Doctor program at the University of
Illinois. Prior to being admitted to the Illinois bar in 2005, Kai worked
as a stenographer at the Legislative Yuan of Taiwan from 1999-2000.
Because of his fluency in Chinese, Taiwanese and English, Kai has been
retained to translate official legal documents into and from Chinese, and
often serves as a contemporaneous translator in both legal and informal
proceedings. Kai is admitted to the Supreme Court of Illinois and U.S.
District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and is also an active
member of the American Immigration Lawyer Association and the Chicago Bar
Association.
Olea

the LL.M. Law Group. Olea is a graduate of
the University of Humanities and Social Sciences in St. Petersburg,
Russia. Olea is fluent in Russian and
English.
